If yes, then a visit to the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) must be at the top of your list. And if it isn’t yet, here are five reasons why you should come to KCC!
1 – KCC is a haven for Korean enthusiasts! The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines offers a wide variety of classes for Korean enthusiasts. From language classes, food, contemporary and traditional art and culture to Korea-related research materials, you’ll be sure to find avenues to discover more about Korea beyond K-pop or Koreanovelas that best suits you.
2 – You can begin watching Korean films and dramas without subtitles! If you are an avid fan of Korean movies or drama or just simply curious about what your favorite Korean stars are saying, KCC offers interactive language classes for beginners and intermediate learners alike.
3 – You can learn how to make Korean dishes! Cooking classes are also available for those who are interested in Korean cuisine. Have you ever wondered how your favorite Korean dishes are made? Learn how to make your favorite dishes and some background stories about how they were originally made, and of course, eat.
4 – You can unleash the inner artist in you! For those who are into the arts, the center also offers classes on contemporary and traditional culture. Learn to dance or sing along to your favorite Korean songs, learn the elegant art of the traditional Korean fan dance, learn to play the traditional Korean percussion instrument samulnori or the stringed-instrument gayageum, or develop your skills in Taekwondo.
Aside from facilitating classes on Korean culture, the center also conducts seasonal exhibits on Korean art which features various works from Korean, Filipino, and international artists alike. All of which are made available at the center’s exhibit hall.
5 – KCC’s library will keep you pre-occupied for hours! The Korean Cultural Center also boasts of its exhaustive collection of Korea-related research materials available at the center’s library. KCC also allows library users to access digital resources including documentaries and contemporary Korean media including K-pop concerts, Korean movies, and dramas.
KCC welcomes everyone from Monday to Saturday (closed on Saturdays during class term break), 8:30 – 5:30 p.m. Please note that it is closed on Philippine and Korean holidays.

1.From Ayala, ride the BGC WEST ROUTE BUS.
The terminal is located near Shell and the Ayala MRT Station. The bus goes around Bonifacio Global City with designated bus stops, you can get off at the 4th (3rd Ave) or 5th bus stop. Then walk towards KCC. Nearest landmark is St. Luke’s Hospital.
2. From Guadalupe / Market Market!
From Guadalupe, ride a jeep bound for Market! Market! The BGC Bus Terminal is located between SM Aura and Market Market Mall. Take the BGC CENTRAL ROUTE BUS and get off at the 5th (3rd Ave) or 6th bus stop. Then walk towards KCC. Nearest landmark is St. Luke’s Hospital.
