Every May 5th of the year, Koreans celebrate Children’s Day. I guess it is one of those awaited events for kids every year. Just like Christmas and their birthday, Parents give presents to their children and spend time with them.
Last May 5, the Korean Cultural Center celebrate Children’s Day. It’s my first time to attend that kind of event and I brought my nephew with me too. It was a fun and exciting day for kids. There are different activities like games, trivia, face painting and also a film showing of some Korean cartoons.
The activity started with Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines Director Oh’s speech. Next is they taught them some Korean words like Annyeong Haseyo (Hello), Eomma (Mother), Appa (Father), Oppa/Hyung ( Older Brother) and Noona/Unnie (Older Sister) and also Seonsaengnim (Teacher).
But you can’t make this little cutie to listen. So what he did was play Tuho(Traditional Korean Game) in advance (=^-ω-^=)
Can’t wait to finish his Pororo painting ^_^
w/ his new Korean friend Ate Chaeyeon
w/ a cartoon character standee
They also watched Pororo. But these kids can’t stop their cuteness as they went on stage to watch it closely.
*Cuteness Overload* (=^-ω-^=)
Also, the gayageum team from Korean Cultural Center played them a happy nursery songs. There is also a gift for the kids who can guess correctly the title of the song. They also have snacks and ate chocopie, kimbap and milk(우유). Aside from that, the kids received a goodies ^^
Are they dancing or playing? ㅋㅋㅋ
Looking forward on bringing him again next year’s Children’s Day.
Thank you Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines for this awesome event!
