On Saturday, April 13, 2024, I got invited to attend the <Color+Full> Kim Seon-ho fan meet at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, and for someone who hadn’t attended a fan meet in quite some time, I felt a mix of excitement and nostalgia leading up to the day itself. I was excited to immerse myself again in the world of K-Idol fandom and meet the other K-Culture stans as well.
The ambiance was charged with excitement as Kim Seon-ho stepped onto the stage opening the Manila leg of his Asia Tour 2024 by singing his single, “Miracle” and was welcomed by resounding applause and cheers. Throughout the fan meeting, Kim Seon Ho’s interactions with his fans were truly heartwarming and memorable. From the different games and segments that were prepared like Name Trivia, Seonho-ticon, Pinoy Tongue Twister, Challenge Relay Drawing Quiz and Mission Kimpossible. Whether engaging in playful banter or sincere conversations, he effortlessly brought joy and delight to everyone present. He even showcased his cooking skills on stage, offering some lucky fans a taste of his creations.
Also, a standout moment of the evening was the host, Ryan Bang, who not only kept the excitement levels up but also made everyone laugh with his hilarious comic relief and banters. His natural humor and friendly personality brought extra fun to the event, keeping the audience interested between different parts of the show and ensuring lots of laughter throughout the evening.
One personal highlight was the chance to see Kim Seon-ho as I got lucky to win a slot in a raffle for the exclusive “hi-bye” session, where winners could briefly greet and bid farewell to KSH. Yes, it wasthe quickest 3-5 seconds of my life at that moment!
For me, this fan meet was more than just a chance to see Kim Seon-ho up close – it’s also about connecting with fellow K-drama stans who share the same passion and enthusiasm. Swapping stories, sharing favorite moments from K-dramas, a rediscovery of the excitement that comes with such gatherings and celebrating a shared love for Korean culture.
